Visual Studio Community is the only one available and it’s free – you just need to have a Microsoft account (also free)

Subject: [Yr11 Information Technology] VB .NET not working on my laptop

Team, my students are happily coding away using VS Express 2012 ‘cos that’s what is on our image.
Me, not so good, I got a new laptop and cannot seem to be able to download any version that does not have a 30-day licence. (Such as Visual Community 2015).
Anyone else already had, and solved, this problem?
At the moment I just plug up to one of the lab desktops but I do want to play with VB .NET in my office and at home too.
Appreciate your feedback.
Cheers
