[Yr11 Information Technology] study design question

Hello Fatima

If you go to page 22 of the study design the third last key knowledge
reads 'spreadsheet and web authoring software functions and techniques
...' And the introduction to the area of study at the top of page 22
also mentioned 'they use spreadsheet software to manipulate acquired
primary data ... (second line).

Hopefully this alleviates your concerns.

Regards

Paula

Subject: study design question

I was going through the study design for ICT unit 1 and on page 19
(under area of study 1) it states:

Spreadsheet knowledge and skills acquired in this area of study are
applied in Area of Study 3.

and when you go to Area of study 3 on page 21 it sates:

Working in teams, which can be virtual, students use web authoring
software to create a website that presents an overview of an issue
associated with one context.

No mention of spreadsheet application here. Can someone please explain
this anomaly? or have I been too late to read it and have missed out on
this dissection :) on edulists!
