Hi Everyone,
once again apologies for cross posts!

PixelEd (the VET Multimedia Teachers Association-we are a not for profit 
organisation run voluntarily by practicing teachers) is holding a PD 
session on Actionscripting.
Although of primary interest to VET MM teachers, it could be useful for 
the new Year 11 IT course and other classes using Flash and wanting to 
get into scripting.

Details as follows:
EXPLORE ACTIONSCRIPT PD
The aim of the session is to provide you with a clear structure on which
to ground your future exploration of Actionscript. After explaining the
key concepts unifying Actionscript, the session will cover the most
fundamental scripting structures of Flash Actionscript - its grammar -
including:

* Objects,
* Classes,
* Variables,
* Properties,
* Control structures,
* Operators &
* Functions.
It will also highlight some of the most common terms in Actionscript -
the core vocabulary - including:
* Movieclip types and properties,
* Common functions,
As well as:
* Extending Actionscript, &
* Looking for help.
