[Visual Communication and Design] d.school comes to Melbourne

The Academy of Design, supported by the Victorian Department of State
Development, Business & Innovation and the Melbourne Business School, are
pleased to introduce leading tutors from Stanford University¹s d.school to
Australian audiences. The two events, run over three days in July, will
cover a series of Œdesign thinking¹ workshops in Melbourne, providing a
unique chance for local entrepreneurial thinkers and design professionals to
be part of the d.school experience in Melbourne.

The Design Thinking and Innovation Workshops in Melbourne are being
presented by faculty who teach similar courses at d.school in the Hasso
Plattner Institute of Design in USA. The special 2-day workshops in
Melbourne are mini-versions of the semester-long courses at d.school,
developed by the same d.school faculty and tailored to Melbourne design
challenges.
