** Free Creative Technology Workshop
------------------------------------------------------------

Students and Teachers are encouraged to join the Academy of Information Technology (AIT) for a free workshop:

Saturday 24 October from 10am – 4pm
AIT Campus, Level 8, 120 Spencer Street, Melbourne

Teachers are able to gain new skills for the classroom and students can get a taste of studying film, animation and concept art from experienced industry professionals.
* ANIMATION: Focus on 3D modelling as the foundation of the animation process with the highly regarded program “Pixologic Zbrush”. Learn digital sculpting techniques to help you create your very first character!
* FILM EDITING: In this workshop you will be given the opportunity to create your own music video. Supplied with video footage to edit and learn the basics of Adobe Premier Pro. Bring your own music or use music from the AIT library. A great introduction to the editing process of film.
* CONCEPT ART: Concept Art is a core unit for many programs here at AIT. This one-day teaser course will give you the opportunity to try your hand at concept art illustration, learning basic drawing techniques that can be applied to digital formats.

AIT can also run these workshops for your year 11 and 12 classes on campus or in your school (resources permitting).
