[Technical] offtopic: burning netbook hardware decisions

This probably won’t answer your question Roland, but I have a Mac now and I’m unlikely to go back to PC, although I’ll still have one floating around for occasional use.  News here is that our iPad submission to the department was knocked back- something to do with some bureaucrat with a one eyed view of PCs.
