[Technical] Talking Heads - Turnkey solution

Hi All,

We are looking at setting up and easy solution for staff and students to record talking heads type journals.
We want to end up with a compressed divx, xvid or wmv so students can store them on their home drives.

Currently we have been trialling CamStudio and it does do the job but I was wondering if there are other easy to use, teach and implement solutions out there that people are using?
