Hi Ray,

 

It's good to see your company has started this, but you've just got to
be a bit careful from a legal point of view as to how you publicize it.

 

For instance, if you post unsolicited to this mailing list (or any
mailing list or individual) a message that contains a link to a
commercial site (www.elraco.com.au) , as well as a link to another that
contains your advertisement  (

www.technologyteachersforum.com.au

) , you actually break the 2003 Federal spam laws.

 

It's safer if you pass this information onto the hosts of this forum and
let them make the post!

 

I'm sure you didn't mean anything by this.

Via dialogue with Technology Teachers from the large number of schools
that we supply all over Australia, it became evident that a discussion
forum would be a welcome tool to source and share information, ideas,
plans, resources, curriculum projects,  you get the idea.

 

So above forum has been established (18 August 2006) to provide a place
for these discussions to take place.

 

It is a very new forum and will only work if you all get on a start a
topic.

 

The site is hosted by Elraco Distributors (www.elraco.com.au) and we
will only participate if we think we can offer some constructive help to
a discussion

 

Feed back is welcome forum at elraco.com.au
