Hi Ken,

Have you downloaded the Assessment Report from the VCAA site.

http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/vce/studies/systemseng/exams.aspx

Most of the questions have worked asnswers or descriptions.

There is , however, there is a problem with Question 17b.

The answer is technically correct as the relay does turn the lights on and off. The problem is that realy is energised when the lights are off. This will lead to the battery going flat whenever the car isn't used for some period of time.

The top (normally off) contact should be connected to the lights in order for the curcuit to operate in real life situation, where the relay is energised when the lights are on.

Cheers

Neville Young

Subject: [Systems Engineering Teachers' Mailing List] Solutions to VCAA Sample exam questions (2013-2017)

I may have missed an earlier post but here is my question:

Has anybody got answers to the VCAA Sample Exam Questions (2013-2017)?

In particular, I am looking for answers to Section B as I have struggled with solutions for a number of these questions from this section.

Hoping someone out there can help.

Regards
