Dear Systems Engineering Teachers,

At a recent DATTA (TEAV) workshop help for Systems Engineering Units  
2 & 4 it was suggested that a site be setup to share resources  
relevant to teaching Systems at the Secondary level.
I volunteered to setup and manage the site which has been organised  
through edna:  http://www.edna.edu.au/edna/go

Education Network Australia (edna) is Australia’s leading online  
resource collection and collaborative network for the education and  
training community.

To become a member of the VSET forums (2 at present) you will need to  
register with edna if you are not already registered (free).

You will need to Register with edna Groups, and the best
way to do that is to direct them to http://www.groups.edna.edu.au and
then to click on Register. They will be required to confirm that
registration by email.

Once you have registered and the group is made available, you
will be able to access it by going to
http://www.groups.edna.edu.au/course/view.php?id=1469  and inputting the
invitation key.

The invitation key is VSET

Edna expect all Group members to comply with netiquette as defined in  
our
Conditions of Use.
These can be found at
http://www.groups.edna.edu.au/mod/resource/view.php?id=28343 and a link
is displayed in your "welcome" section.

I have set up two forums for discussion and to upload and download  
resources. We have some great worksheets already.
The two forums are:
Systems Engineering VCE Units 1-4
Systems and Electronics Years 7-10

There is a 10mb upload limit which should give us plenty of scope for  
contributing material to the forums.

Neville Young from Glen Waverley has got the ball rolling with a  
wonderful contribution to date. Thanks Neville.

Thanks also to Adriana Agosta from DATTA for her assistance with  
getting the site started.

Hope you can join the team at VSET and make this edna Group a  
successful one.
