Hi Victoria

A wonderful resource you have prepared here and kindly shared with your colleagues . Thank you 🙂

Students may care to know that they could investigate online payment options for purchases using payment gateways such as paypal.
At around 2% fee for each transaction for those who actually do implement an eCommerce solution, credit card payment can be cleared on the same day !
( I don't get a commission for this ).

I forgot to mention there are opportunities to also teach some of the security content in SD Unit 4 Outcome 2 such as cross site scripting and SQL injection,
man in the middle attacks, encryption and more. Importantly, also how to protect against these attack vectors.
A few links that may help

DVWA Part 2: Exploiting Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Vulnerabilities | Insecurity Matters Blog<https://ensurtec.com/dvwa-part-2-exploiting-cross-site-scripting-xss-vulnerabilities/>
Cross-site scripting (from here on out, referred to as XSS) is an injection attack in which malicious scripts are injected into a web application. XSS allows an attacker to send a malicious script to a different user of the web application without their browser being able to acknowledge that this script should not be trusted.

Hi Folks

I am hoping you are all doing well ahead of our staggered return to regular classes next week.
I have been using XAMPP for some time and have been impressed with the increased versatility of its new add on modules.
For the uninitiated xampp can run on Windows/Linux/Mac.
[cid:1723aa50d56cb971f161]

It has several services such as http, https, MySQL, PHPMyAdmin etc.

[cid:1723aa50d57cb971f162]

It also allows for the installation and configuration of over a dozen add-on packages ( Not for Mac it seems ).
So you want to teach Web programming, Networking, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Moodle, OpenCart for online shopping etc etc . Easy .

The beauty is any of these features can be installed in several minutes on a student device and you are ready to go.
It can be used from Yr 7 to Yr 12 and focus on the teaching of impressive technologies.
