The following notice was in the October VCAA Bulletin for State Reviewers. State Reviewers are required for Algorithmics (HESS), Informatics and Software Development. The date for final applications has been extended to this Sunday 11 November.

Applications open for VCE State Reviewer positions

The VCAA is seeking applications for the roles of State Reviewer for VCE studies. VCE State Reviewers are appointed for two years commencing 1 January of the first year of appointment and concluding 31 December at the end of the appointment period.

The VCE State Reviewer holds a key role in the School-based Assessment Audit. In addition, the State Reviewer participates in the delivery of VCAA professional learning programs, advises the VCAA on matters pertaining to the relevant VCE study and assists in the preparation of published advice. It is desirable that a VCE State Reviewer is currently teaching, or has recently taught, the relevant VCE study at Units 3 and 4 level.

The following VCE studies will have vacancies in 2019-2020:

*        AL03 Algorithmics

*        IT02 Computing: Informatics

*        IT03 Computing: Software Development
