[Year 12 SofDev] Project Plan in a Spreadsheet

Hi Simon,

If the aim of using a spreadsheet for the Gantt were to make the process
simpler, you'll be disappointed.
GanttProject or similar free software is so much easier and more flexible
and quick. And it's very quick to learn.

Using Excel for Gantt produces worse results (no dependency lines, for
example) with much greater effort in a longer time... and the quality,
effort and time only get worse when the plan needs to be tweaked as it
progresses.

Regards
Mark
