Hi Mark

The Project Plan is established in U3O2. This involves the task analysis and establishment of the Gantt Chart.

The Project Plan is then submitted and assessed by the teacher. The teacher can provide feedback to the student regarding the suitability of the project plan. Once the plan is assessed, any changes that the student makes in response to the feedback is not re-assessed.

Over the course of the SAT, students are required to monitor the progress of the project, making adjustments and annotations to their plan as required.

For their U4O1 submission, students are required to report on how the project plan was useful in monitoring their progress.

For my students, its public knowledge that I'll be getting mine to annotate an enlarged printed copy of their project plans from when it's submitted and they make corrections to the plan. I'll also be getting mine to blog on a regular basis, in order to ensure that they have a large amount of source material in which they can base their report on.

Hope this helps....(and from time to time - it would be great if your sarcasm wasn't so obvious and you put a positive spin on things...)

JV

So, no-one can tell the difference between the two tasks?

Good luck assessing it, then.
I'm glad it won't be me doing it.
