The Notice to Schools, which will be published next Wednesday, will be placed with the study design, and will state the specific nature of the change.

Thanks, Paula, for the announcement of the change to the design.

It is comforting to see that the document has a new "Last Updated" date.

But it would be neat if the nature of the change were identified within the document. As is, downloaders would know that it has been updated in August 2016, but they would not know how it has been changed (unless they found your explanatory post on Edulists or perhaps later in the VCAA Bulletin.)

Regards,
Mark

Dear colleagues

Today an observant teacher brought to my attention an error in the study design. Within the study design an inconsistency exists between the date of the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act in the Glossary (page 12) and in Software Development, Unit 4, Area of Study 2: Interactions and impact (pp 46-47). The correct date of the Act is 2006, not 2012 as stated on page 47. An updated version of the study design to reflect this change is now available on the Computing study page<http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/vce/computing/ComputingSD-2016.pdf>.
