[Year 12 SofDev] Study design question - stacks/queues and serial/random access

Hi Natalie,
I too noticed the serial vs random access question. It isn't in the study design - so (IMO - disclaimer!), I would be inclined to think that this was included in error?Stacks and queues are definitely not in the study either.

Hi everyone,
 
I was wondering to what extent people are teaching these concepts…

 
Serial vs random access is not mentioned anywhere in the study design (as it has been in previous years), yet question 10 in the sample exam assesses it directly.
 
Does this mean that we should assume that
stacks vs queues are also assessable, despite also not being mentioned in the study design?
 
What about other things that I haven’t thought of that aren’t in there?
 
I’m a bit worried that I’m not covering some areas because they are not explicitly in the study design. I know it makes sense to cover them anyway, but if they can appear in the exam then I’ll be doing a lot
 more to revise them.
