You've just redefined Cognitive Dissonance!

Seriously, Microsoft seems to have redefined itself lately: first they bring
out an OS that works well (Windows 7) and now they're supporting PHP and
Opensource development. I've been looking into the Expressions Studio 4 and
am seriously impressed, especially with their online support documents and
curriculum material via Dreamspark.com. Has any body else played much with
Sketchflow/Blend/Web/Design? I'd love to exchange ideas and tips.

Laurie

Open Source Developers Conference
The Abbotsford Convent
23-26 November 2010

Hi all,

I'm guessing some of you have some talented up and coming software
developers in your midst... If you think they could do with
encouragement to dive into the deep end of the open source software
development industry - perhaps you could pass this on?

It's only $200 for students... which includes a pre-conference PHP
workshop sponsored by Microsoft...

Any of you particularly interested in really stretching your own
programming skills may also be interested... Although the focus here is
very much on development, not on education, so I was thinking it would
be more suitable for students.

It's a non-profit event, organised entirely by volunteers.

cheers
Donna
