Dear all
Seems that the issue is with students not using the same data types
across tables.
I redid the task myself and again had no error once I had data type set
correctly so thanks to John, Shane and others who responded.

Subject: [Year 12 SofDev] php mysql error

Dear all,
One of my students has come across the following error in MYSQL when
trying to relate two tables together.
I can't seem to find an explanation for him.

Is anybody able to give me some ideas of what I am looking at.

Basically they need to relate customerID from one table to another. This
is similar to what students did as part of the learning activities in
Kevorks PHP book but I have not come across the error before.

I have already checked the permissions for each user and they are fine.
But out of the class of six only 2 get this error the others seem to be
fine. That is their relationships are in place.

I am thinking it is a rather simple fix (as most things are) but just
can't see it.

Regards
Andrew Weir
