Hi Mark,

 My view is that the method of delivery is irrelevant when data flows are 
drawn simply because it is a logical diagram.
Whether an order comes on paper, snail mail, fax, email, web page or 
telephone is irrelevant (  as opposed to a system flowchart that would have 
a physical diagram of the components and processing ) . All that is needed 
is a data flow from customer to a process eg. Accept order.
