Aghhhh Copenhangen, I have had a gut-full watching the time being
wasted as we sit around watching climate skeptics fire missiles from
their trenches. As a former practicing scientist, I grimace at how the
media and fringe groups have hijacked the debate. We need to make
decisions now based on good science, not look for higher ground or
quack science to prop-up a marginal view. Last year I felt better
because I had a glimmer of hope that we could work this out together.

Oddly enough it was my mother today who asked me to cheer up and
organise solar panels for her home. When I asked why, she frowned then
added ".. for your kids of course".

As for the Internet censorship debate, I am penning a whimsical open
letter to my minister about their clean feed provisions and the
climate following the guidelines detailed in the Crikey.Com article ..
if anybody is curious, read the link below.

Mum is right .. time for action and it starts at home.

Anybody going to see Avitar? Looks great and will fill in the spot
nicely before the next Star Trek movie hits the ground.

Regards Roland

> The reality is that Labor and Conroy are playing the pander to the Religious right in this country re: votes.  It's no secret but just about every religious organisation regardless of faith in this or any other country wants censorship on just about everything- as long as it's consistent with their religious leanings of course!   (Try and get consistency on that one!)  But then again we are back in the Middle Ages- You know the War of Religions
