If your using LDAP, have you checked AD Group and/or OU for staff (moodle teachers) in both moodle settings & ADUC?

Hi all,

It appears that the roles / permissions may be messed up.
Members of the Teacher role are not able to add files / resources to sections in a course.  They can add sections. They are also missing the Settings block.
However I'm not sure this is a problem for all Teacher role users - still waiting for feedback.

FYI, we're using LDAP authentication & Fadeback theme.

Any suggestions?

Did your technicians put your Moodle into maintenance mode to do the update. If they still have it in maintenance mode you won't be able to do anything in Moodle.

Hoping someone can help,
Over the break the techs updated to the latest version of Moodle...
I have been able to set up new courses, but not add files or activities.
I found the new "activity chooser" button and switched that to on, and although I can now see the activities I still can't add any...
Am I doing a blokes look? Or has something not been checked?
