[Moodle] Videos in moodle - file sizes - VLC player?

VLC Player is an open-source multimedia player developed by VideoLan.

It's a downloadable installer, so no, it's not a Moodle plugin.

It has the widest compatibility with video codecs "out of the box" of every
media player available. It's also available for Windows, Linux and OS/X.

what is VLC player? is that a moodle plug in?

I have tried a couple of times to change the file size we are able to
upload, but can't get it to work, and neither can the tech...so we are
limited to 2MB... which can be frustrating with some video files

so much to learn :)
cheers
Suz

Easy to stick with mp4 as a format, they place nicely with VLC Player and
can even be downloaded by students to play on their iPods etc.
