Well done.
I haven't experimented with many combinations of the new fine tuning
privileges....

Subject: [Moodle] Course Categories, sub-categories and courses

Ok. I finally managed to get this after several hours of fiddling.

Requirement:
We have a couple of Course Categories with sub categories and courses
underneath them. The teachers are all under Course Creators (directive from
above Stephen). I have been trying to work out how to allow teachers to view
all courses without having to worry about enrolment keys. Grant Henderson
suggested to Allow "View Courses" and that worked a treat. However, it
doesn't show the Course Categories but every single course created (which
can be quite a lot).

Result:
After fiddling with the role definitions, I came across the parameter called
"Update Course Settings" which when enabled with the "View Courses" gives
the Course Categories AND access to all courses. I hope this doesn't blow up
in my face down the track.
