Vik.  If you can not share your courses between schools, it is because you
must be using an older version of moodle. One of the main reasons for 1.8
was to allow moodle users to cross access

I would be surprised if the UltraNet [waves hands about dramatically]
did not use SCORM objects (actually, I wouldn't be that surprised).
Moodle can use SCORM, so there would be a bit of room for crossover.

Having said that, it's not likely the department will force every
school's intranet/elearning system to close; I'm sure a local moodle
install would be able to co-exist with the UltraNet. Maybe the
UltraNet will even be well implemented, and could provide a useful
resource for us all - one thing I find lacking in moodle is a nice
inter-school network for sharing courses/lessons/resources.
