[Year 12 IT Apps] EdCamp Melbourne Invitation

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the cross post!

Just wanted to make you aware of a free professional development day called EdCamp (http://edcampmelb.org/) on 2nd March.

An "Edcamp" (http://edcamp.org/) or an un-conference is a get together of educators to exchange ideas and learn together. There have been over 200 in America and it is now one of their main forms of professional development for teachers. This will be the first one held in Australia. They are:


  *   free
  *   non-commercial and conducted with a vendor-free presence
  *   hosted by any organisation interested in furthering the edcamp mission
  *   made up of sessions that are determined on the day of the event
  *   events where anyone who attends can be a presenter
  *   reliant on the "law of two feet" that encourages participants to find a session that meets their needs
