Hi Benn,

Nice to hear you're using my sac. Not sure what version that was so here's the changed version I made after being audited. Yes it needed design for the user doc.

The reason for the choice of tools is to match the key skill "select and apply appropriate design tools to represent solutions" so they are selecting the tool. If you tweak it in a to get better compliance with designed "all functional and appearance requirements" let me know. Easy to add more as most students finished the initial part one and two in under 45 minutes so it was a little short. Also you may want to check the data you have so you get responses to the hires over the last month query. I'm not using it this year so haven't updated the data.

Love to have any feedback you have about using it.

Cheers

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] ITAPPS U4O1 Design Stage Question!

Hello There,

I hope we've all enjoyed our holidays!

Quick question with regards to U4O1.. When students are completing the design stage of the SAC, do they need to design every aspect, including Queries, Reports etc? The sac I'm using ("Als Androids") has only mentioned that a student needs to design two things (from a choice of various design tools). First they must demonstrate relationships between tables and secondly, they must describe either the appearance of a report OR query.

I looked through the assessment handbook and came across this from the 41-50 marks section; "All functional and appearance requirements of the ongoing solution and the user documentation are accurately represented in appropriate design tools".

>From this, I gather that students are also required to design the look of their User Documentation also? What is everyone else's take on this?

Cheers!
