Hey there Deb.
If it were me, the first place I would look would be the VCAA site, closely followed by the study design. At least that way you'd have an idea of some formal structures and outcome expectations.
We (I think) are running that here too for the first time at senior level and our teacher is experienced in the unit so I will pass on your email to her,...perhaps you two can bounce ideas off each other?

Ok I am suppose to be running Media for VCE next year..
I have no idea for SAC's and what not....
can anyone help me out?????
I have a planning day for this on Thursday and I was told we were going to be given something to start from but the appears to have fallen thought so I have come to you to ask for assistance/guidance or straight out help.

Yes, there is a list called offtopic at edulsits.com.au for these types of discussions.
Here is a quick list of other lists people can use for other discussions ( from www.edulists.com.au <http://www.edulists.com.au/> , the Subscribe link )
It doesn't take long to find the list for your needs. I will be adding a few new ones such as IT Careers and any others we feel we need. Do we need any others at this stage ?
In addition, there will be some other improvements shortly such as an online forum for people to be able to use a web interface for their discussions much like existing forums with photos and threads that can be followed through . All of this will interface with the existing setup. That means people can use either:
1. The current mailing list
2. The current newsgroup interface to the mailing lists
3. The online forum interfacing with the mailing lists
4. Or choose any one of the above depending on their access and location
