Hi All

Groove is a Peer-to-Peer program that I have been running in my
classroom.

If you would like to have students work in a virtual environment.

Cheers

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] Virtual Teams - Get in the Groove

Hi All

Found this resource called Groove, a Microsoft product, which enable
teams to work collaboratively regardless of network boundaries or
connections where they can share and exchange documents, create meetings
and work collaboratively on documents. Members of the team can invite
other members to team meetings and to share and collaborate on
documents.

The location below has a PowerPoint presentation, 1 hour 29 minutes,
providing a great overview of Groove. You are able to select slides to
present in class of relevant data rather than give the full
presentation. There is audio accompanying the presentation, not very
inspiring but informative.

The following URL is the promo for Groove 2007:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/bb530373.aspx

Also on the site you can download the PowerPoint slides or transcripts
of the same presentation. Further information is available on the
product.

Well worth a look for those looking for materials on Virtual Teams,
despite the fact that it is a plug for a Microsoft application.
