[Year 12 IT Apps] RE: Google docs issue

Hi Royce!

Hope Billanook Alligator Farms is going well!

Sorry, this is a very important issue.

First: We need to consider what the prime function of schools and the use of
ICT in schools should be. I go back to my original statement - "The
curriculum, the education and needs of the students are paramount."

Second: We obviously have communication problems with one side (teachers)
not understanding the needs/problems/constraints of the other side
(techs/admin) - and of course vice versa. There needs to be positive
communication between all parties concerned at school level.

Third: Why is it that some schools, even those with low funding levels, can
do it so well and others make a mess of it? . . . People?

I come back to my first two points - we need to establish priorities, and we
need real communication within schools about how we can meet the educational
needs of the students.
