Cracking the e-learning whip!
18/06/2007

Don't let your students miss out on one of the most funky and
fashionable e-learning campaigns in Australia.

The 'PUT THE HARD WORD ON 'EM' national campaign gives teenagers and
learners of all ages a chance to tell their teachers and trainers about
what, where, when and how they want to learn.

Teachers and trainers can encourage their students to log on to
http://www.elearn.net.au/ where they can complete a short survey about
e-learning and be in the running to win one of 50 iPod shuffles.

The survey will collect important information about what technologies
are being used by young people at home and in schools, and the
technological expectations they have of their chosen higher education
organisations.

The data collected will be used to help ensure Australia's training
system meets the demands of its 21st century learners.

To assist teachers and trainers in promoting e-learning, the 'PUT THE
HARD WORD ON 'EM' campaign has come up with edgy and fashionable steel
'e' dog tags and vibrant posters they can give out to students or to put
up in classrooms.

With only two more draws to go, anyone involved with education should
get involved by ordering their promotional campaign pack from:
http://www.flexiblelearning.net.au/elearncampaign.

Winners are drawn monthly, May's were: Zorina Cross, New South Wales;
Rory Herbert, Western Australia; Claire Hopkinson, Queensland; Joshua
Look, Queensland; Sara McDowell, South Australia; Yvette McShane, New
South Wales; Sam Munnings, Tasmania; Glenn Pascoe, Queensland; Brian
Pearce, Queensland; and Ethan Snow, Queensland.

Further draws will take place on: 28 June and 27 August.

'PUT THE HARD WORD ON 'EM' has been developed by the national training
system's e-learning strategy, the Australian Flexible Learning
Framework.
