[Year 12 IPM] Re Excel problem

Hi Jock,

I added an extra column, column c.

I then used nested If statements to test, eg. Cell A2 then B2.

The formula in cell C2 would be:

=IF(A2="R",IF(B2="F",1,0),0)

I copied this formula for C2 - C7.

As a result, the cells in C would have the value 1 if A2 = R and B2 = F, 
otherwise it would contain 0.
I then used the SUM feature to add all the 1's up in column c to get the 
total.

I've attached the modified spreadsheet for you to see. Hope this helps
