[Year 12 IPM] resource booking via outlook

We haven't used Outlook except on a personal/individual basis but we love 
BookIt - easy to create templates, easy for teachers to use. Love it!

there was extensive discussion surrounding software that schools are using 
to book rooms and equipment over the school's intranet in the past months
 
our TSSP has suggested we use outlook to do the bookings via its calendar. 
 
does anyone out there have comment, are there any templates that can be used 
to customised outlook into period by period time etc
