[Year 12 IPM] Define "Prototype website"?

Dear Keith and colleagues

In the Advice for Teachers section of the study design (page 66) there
is an explanation of what a prototype website means (para 4), but I
shall take the liberty of explaining a little more.

For Outcome 2, Unit 3, IT Applications, students would be expected to
create the home page for the organisation (for example, including all
relevant buttons/icons, links, logos etc), but after that students only
develop that part of the website that supports knowledge sharing/problem
solving etc. So, all other parts of the website do not have to be built
by the students. In effect, what they are doing is telling you of the
website's potential, but only making part of it functional.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Paula

Subject: [Year 12 IPM] Define "Prototype website"?

Hello fellow IP&M'ers.

Can anyone define what the 2007 ITAP course description really means by

the term "Prototype website"?

Thanks, Keith
