Personal digital storage just extends the immensely damaging tradition of
teachers collecting and creating resources for their own use that hardly
ever contribute to shared curriculum development (unless through a
commercial publication)....
Have a large shared intranet curriculum library.
Offer very limited (e.g. 300Mb) private storage on your intranet - or invite
selfishness, laziness and non-work usage

I have over 1GB worth of school files, which include video tutorials,
examples and online quizzes for my classes. We have many teachers that have
more than 500 Mb on their network drives which most of the files are used
regularly.

Hi,
We are running out of space on our server due to a policy of unlimited space
given to teachers. I'd appreciate it if anyone could pass on what the policy
is at their school re teacher usage of hard disk space on the server. What
is a reasonable amount these days for an average teacher? 50 MB? 500MB
