I have found this to be another great advantage of using Open Office - click
icon on toolbar to convert a document to pdf. I used this feature last year
with Year 7s so they could create links to their work samples in
Dreamweaver.

Anyone else noticed that the new Macromedia suite offers PDF creation
("Flash Paper") without needing the gargantuan Acrobat Writer?

I've uninstalled Acrobat Writer and use the "Flash Paper/PDF" writer now.

I *LOVE* uninstalling bloatware!

P.S. Enjoy the last ever year of IPM!
