1.	You can create "communities" amongst the kids much like myspace
- I think collaborative thinking and brainstorming where kids draw and
build on each other ideas online is the way to go...it is one of the
ways to get kids to reflect, contribute and raise the bar.
2.	It links in with moddle (e.g. in a block) and I can incorporate
LDAP authentication and ensure that kids can moderate any comments that
are contributed to their sites
3.	It WILL incorporate themes etc. much like Wordpress. Kids will
be able to have a great deal flexibility for design ... a lot of these
developments will be available next year

Still working on several of my own themes (I'd like to have flash
working in my VCE banner)...I'll send you the zip file when finished if 
you are interested. The sites are also progressively being built as I
have to transfer a lot of the material I originally had in sharepoint...
