[Year 12 IPM] Q5 under review

Hmmm, I have watched intersting discussions about Q5.
I too have to agree with Mark's son ... Most of my kids (and myself)
thought "mandatory" when they read GST - wasn't a similar queston on a
past exam?

Good point, not sure they will buy it as a solution.

On a personal note, my son did IPM this year (at another school) and
thought Q5 was easy. He read the question saw "GST" and thought
"Mandatory". Maybe it helps if you don't read the question too
carefully?

Perhaps a better solution would be for ANY answer to q5 be marked as
CORRECT, since the mistake was made by Examination Branch??? After all,
students had to spend time considering which incorrect answer to pick,
which came off their allotted time.

We could organise a march down Swanston St (and local main streets in
rural venues)... perhaps even burn a few cars in Paris.

If numbers count, everyone can tell the Examination Branch what they
think.

I sent my request to Paula, but I think the better contact is straight
to the Examinations Branch at
