This year, an exciting new study program for Australian educators will be running titled 'In Conversation' - Arizona Study Tour running from 24 Sept to 3 October, 2011
'In conversation' places Australian delegates in four schools from elementary to middle and high in the Paradise Valley school district. Students from participating schools, technology leaders and district leaders will work with us as we come to understand 'how student leadership for technology integration' is credible, achievable, empowering and most importantly, sustainable.
As we deal with educational change and reform, the complex roles students can undertake as change agents in this reform is yet to be realised. This tour grew out of conversations about authentic, student-centred learning with Arizona District Technology leaders and GenYes<http://blog.genyes.org/>, TechYes program leader Silvia Martinez.

For more information about this tour or to register your interest, please visit http://acce.edu.au/arizona-study-tour. Or alternatively contact me directly. If you are interested in joining delegates online as we discuss our personal inquiry questions, which will then be explored on tour, contact me via email for the link as we would appreciate your thoughts.
