Hi Daniela,
The software the presenter was probably using is ActivStudio with Promethean
IWBs. This software and hardware package have this type of functionality.
It has all other types of interactive features as well! It really is a great
educational product!

  Hi all I hope this is the right list to ask such a question.

  One of the teachers would like to use the electronic whiteboard to
classify items into groups under a heading. If the student places the wrong
item it would reject it. She went to a PD and saw this happening. She spoke
about creating a"container". I believe there is no such function in the
smartboard software so I assume the presenter used other software. Such as
excel? Does anyone know if there is any other easy way of doing this?
