Just a note to let all teachers know that Australian Wood Review magazine's annual Student Awards are now open for entry to students in years 11 and 12. 

Students can enter on their own behalf or teachers can enter for them.

Basically they need to upload 6 x hires pics, including one of the student with the piece. We also need around 200 words describing design/construction/materials.

Entries are shown on our website as they arrive and many on our Instagram page. After the December 11 deadline one image per entry is loaded to our Facebook page for people's choice voting by "likes/reactions".

Students can also send links to their process videos if they wish and we run these on our social pages as well. 

We've had good response to this competition in the six years it has run. People like seeing what these students and their teachers can achieve.
