[Design and Technology] end user query

HI Gabrielle

In the description of Unit 3 on page 21 it says, 'students are engaged in
the design and development of a product that addresses a *personal,* local
or global problem .......'
So if a student designs for his or her self, they are addressing a personal
problem. This will probably be what a lot of students choose.

However, they do need feedback so they will need to find others (I would
suggest at least two) of a similar ilk to give feedback throughout the
process. This is why they need to consider themselves part of an end-user
group as you suggested. By doing that they should be able to find two or
more others with similar tastes, needs etc.
