Hi.

I recently bought some off ebay but the issue is getting the correct size
(therefore resistance). If you have a piece of the existing wire, you could
measure its diameter using a micrometer and then ensure that what you buy is
the same diameter. If not it will be either too hot or too cold.

Failing that you could try Hobby Tools Australia in Braeside 9587 7734

Hi all,
I have an old plastic strip heater that uses wire as the heating element but
it seems to have broken. Anyone know where I can get some spare wirefrom.
Have tried Jaycar with no success. Is it a special type of wire? Some
research tells me it's nichrome wire.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Stuart
