To Manual / Industrial Arts (Woodwork) teachers,

Australian Wood Review, Australia's leading magazine about fine woodworking, is currently running a nationwide woodworking competition for year 11 and 12 students of woodwork in 2014.

Just a reminder that the December 14 Student Awards deadline is approaching!

Basically students need to email 6 images of their piece and a description, along with a signed form that can be downloaded from http://www.woodreview.com.au/student-awards/entry-details

The competition is a way that we feel can actively promote woodworking and handskills to the younger generation. There's a great prize pool from sponsors of $7226 to be awarded to schools and students.

I would appreciate it if you would pass this email onto the appropriate staff members for their consideration.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
