[Design and Technology] 3D Printer

Hi Technology teachers,	
		Could any of you share any experience you may have had using 3D printers within your Technology programs?
At Marist-Sion we are considering the benefits of a 3D printer, but have no experience with that type technology. Some does and don't would really help as a starting point for us.
