HI all,

Does everything feel the same way as I do about Jacinta ? Isn’t she wonderful ! I didn’t know this resource existed

The slide show is good BUT when looking at the Wood/metal slides be aware that the decision matrix in at least one slide is wrong. The decision matrix compares a side table, coffee table and I think a lamp table. The mistake is that all the weighting is out of 10 ie. 5/10 or 9/10 rather than High = 8 – 10, Medium = 7 – 5, and Low = 4 – 0. Hence Medium would be out of 7 not out of 10. I know this is confusing, just make sure your students don’t latch onto that slide

There are also a lot of textiles examples in this wood/metal set of slides

Overall a terrific resource especially if your students couldn’t get to Top Designs.

Thanks again Jacinta

Dear colleagues

In case you haven't been alerted yet, there are two great resources for you to use with your students for the SAT. One is focused on Textiles, the other on Wood/Metal (called Product). These were created by the State Reviewers for the forums at Top Designs.

Each Criterion is set out with an excellent student example/s.

I suggest you download and save them now, as finding them can be tricky. Also remember they get updated each year so its a good idea to have a collection.
