** PL14012 VCE Systems Engineering Exam Preparation (for teachers)

The Systems Engineering exam preparation workshop is a four hour activity giving teachers the tools to teach exam prep across the necessary unit 3 and 4 outcomes. The workshop includes:
* Preparing to be examined on Unit 3 and 4
* Important information from the examiner’s report
* The marking process and what examiners look for in an exam response
* Where students have gone wrong in the past
* Sharing ideas and tips so as to gain the best results for your students and the subject.
* The workshop will be aimed at both new and experienced Systems Engineering teachers.
Bruce Eager - Presenter: Bruce Eager has been both an exam assessor and reviewer for the VCAA for several decades.

** PL14011 Infrared Picaxe Microcontroller plus a choice of building a Buggy, a 3x3x3 LED Cube or a Jumbo 7 Segment Display

In this interactive hands-on workshop, learn how to make:
1. 1.Infrared Remote Controlled microcontroller (Picaxe 8M2 or 14M2)
2. Buggy (either3x3x3 LED Cube or a Jumbo 7 Segment Display)
Participants will decide on an Infrared model of their choice as they arrive. They will construct, test, program and take away their own Infrared Universal Remote Controlled Picaxe 8M2/14M2 Microcontroller and either a Buggy, 3x3x3 LED Cube or Jumbo 7 Segment Display.
Presenter - Pat McMahon: Pat McMahon has run workshops for over 450 DATTA Vic participants over the last nine years.
