Australian Furniture Timbers will never open again. The site has been sold
and all the timber was auctioned off very quickly.
The 2 lovely guys who owned it and gave us such great service over decades
have both become very ill and could not continue with the business. As a
result Anthony from Timber Lord is trying to fill a gap in the market. He
basically loves wood and wants to provide a service.
A part of my history has gone as I loved going to the corner of Plummer and
Salmon street and seeing those racks of timber.

Thanks for letting us know Robin as I have been trying to contact them for
the last 2 weeks and kept checking the website thinking I had the wrong
number. I used to get timber from them years ago and got to know them quite
well but haven't been there in many years. What happened and are they going
to re open at all?

It was devastating to hear that Australian Furniture Timbers closed due to
illness. One of the guys (Anthony) who worked at AFT for 10 years has
opened his own timber business and I thought teachers would appreciate the
contact as it can be difficult to buy good quality timbers.
I have attached his price list
