[Design and Technology] Position vacant - Materials Technology Technician

An opportunity exists for an experienced Materials Technology Technician to join Mentone Grammar, as part of the Technologies Faculty.



This position is 0.2 FTE, on an ongoing basis.



A highly motivated, hands on, self-starter with excellent organisational, interpersonal skills is required.



The successful applicant will have prior experience working as a technician or similar. They will prepare materials needed for classes, oversee the maintenance of equipment and tools used in the Faculty, and arrange for large machinery maintenance and repair. 



Maintaining a clean, safe, tidy and orderly workshop is required, as is ordering and distributing supplies.



In addition, you will have an understanding of and commitment to the ethos of independent schooling.
