[Design and Technology] 2013 exam

Product Design and Technology
In addition to normal stationery, students are permitted to take 
the following into the examination room: coloured pencils, 
markers and a general shape template.
The VCE Exams Navigator 2012 incorrectly lists human 
shape templates as approved equipment; these will not be 
required and should not be taken into the examination.
This information has been provided in the examination 
specifications available on the VCAA website.

In this year’s exam the textiles students were not permitted to bring a figure template to use for the design option. I am not sure when this information was available, but I found this out towards the end of the year just before exams. Is there a reason for this change?
