[Design and Technology] Students VCE PD&T Exam Prep Workshops

This will be an excellent workshop for VCE students as Katrina is a top VCE
teacher who is an excellent communicator.  

Her students last year achieved amazing results with at least 5 gaining 40+
(could have been 6)

Katrina also marks the VCE exam every year so knows the ins and outs of how
the paper works and what the exam markers are looking for.  

 

Personally I believe that it is well worth teachers attending and it will
count towards VIT.  

 

Please encourage all your VCE students to attend as hearing from another
teacher often helps the information sink in

After the success of last year's Exam Preparation Workshops for Students we
are holding  VCE PD&T Exam Preparation Workshops for Students in Term 3. 

Please see below for further details:

 

VCE PD&T Exam Preparation for Students PL13024

The VCE Product Design and Technology Exam Preparation workshop for students
and teachers is a 3 hour activity. This workshop provides opportunities for
students and teachers to work together and:

.         Review the content that is covered by the exam, particularly
focusing on the areas new to the study design. 

.         Gain important information from the examiner's report and gain a
deeper understanding of what is looked for in an exam response. 

.         Understand where students have gone wrong in the past. 

.         Carry out activities that help in exam preparation. 

.         Be able to share ideas and tips to gain the best results.

 

This is a unique opportunity for students and teachers to work together and
prepare for this year's Exam in Product Design and Technology.
